As the Chief Accountant at Dar Tantora The House Hotel, you will play a pivotal role in the financial integrity and success of our operations. Your main responsibility will be to oversee the accuracy and completeness of our financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. You will support the accounting team in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, using your expertise to provide strategic financial insights that support our business objectives. Your role will also involve optimising financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. JOB DESCRIPTION

ASSET & EXPERIENCE:

• Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions and reporting, ensuring they meet established accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the preparation and maintenance of all financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices, enhancing financial data organisation and accessibility.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and optimise financial stability and transparency.
• Develop and oversee effective billing and tax compliance procedures to minimise financial risks.
• Analyse financial trends to provide actionable insights and forecasts that support strategic business decisions.

PEOPLE:

• Coordinate the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors to ensure efficient execution and compliance with all financial regulations.
• Contribute to a harmonious workplace environment within the finance team.
• Model professionalism and meticulous financial management, inspiring trust among team members.
