Receiving of Assets

• Receive and check if the item is as per the specification as indicated in the PO.
  
• Signing of delivery notes confirming receipt of the item.
  
• In case the item delivered is not as per the description of the specification indicated in the PO Reject / return the item to the supplier and inform the concerned Asset Buyer to take the necessary action.
  
• Receiving Assets from supplier and check the Specification as per PO/ Requested by User department
  
• Capture full asset details Fixed Asset Management System including warranty information.
  
• Generating appropriate Barcode Asset tags Fixed Asset Management System.
  
• Fixing Asset Tag (Barcode) on each item at location & delivered directly to the user department.
  

Issue of Asset s

• Issue the item to the respective department and obtain signature on the requisition from the requisitioning department representative.
  
• Send copy of the Receipt with all document of Purchase to Finance expenditure and obtain acknowledgment of the receipt of the same.
  

Transfer of Asset s

• Receive Approved copy of Asset Transfer form from within make sure Transferor & Transferee sign and accept the asset in given location.
  
• Update Asset Management System with the Transfer information such as Department Location and Custodian.
  
• Include all Transfer of Asset s Report month wise and send electronically to Finance MIS to update.
