Overview:
A growing organization operating in the equipment rental and services sector supporting large-scale projects across the UAE. The company works with a wide network of local and international suppliers and is currently strengthening its internal operations to support ongoing expansion and efficiency.
This role has been introduced as part of the companys efforts to formalize and improve procurement processes supplier management and commercial negotiations.
Position Summary:
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day procurement activities across multiple categories including equipment services and logistics. The role focuses on supplier coordination purchase execution cost control and ensuring continuity of supply to support operations.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone who is operationally strong commercially aware and comfortable working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Operations
Handle end-to-end procurement activities in line with company policies and budgets
Source materials services and equipment to meet operational requirements
Prepare and process purchase requests purchase orders and related documentation
Ensure timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues
Supplier Management
Liaise with existing suppliers and support the identification of alternative vendors when required
Request evaluate and compare quotations to ensure cost efficiency
Support negotiations on pricing terms and delivery schedules
Maintain accurate supplier records and procurement documentation
Cost Control & Coordination
Monitor procurement spend and support cost optimization initiatives
Coordinate closely with operations finance and logistics teams
Support inventory planning and operational demand requirements
Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate procurement records for reporting and audit purposes
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and ethical sourcing standards
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Logistics or a related field
Experience in procurement within equipment rental industrial or service-based environments
Exposure to UAE supplier markets and sourcing practices
Experience handling multiple procurement categories is an advantage
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good commercial awareness and cost-conscious mindset
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in ERP or procurement systems (Zoho or similar is a plus)
