About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Baker to join a wellestablished bakery or retail company. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread pastries cakes and other baked goods while maintaining highquality standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent baking skills a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Baking and Production:

Prepare and bake a variety of bread pastries cakes cookies and other baked items as per the recipes and standards.
Follow detailed recipes and ensure consistency in the quality of all baked goods.
Monitor ovens and baking equipment to ensure proper temperatures and baking times.

2. Ingredient Management and Inventory:

Measure and mix ingredients accurately according to the recipes.
Ensure proper storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and avoid spoilage.
Assist in managing inventory and reorder ingredients when necessary.

3. Quality Control:

Ensure all baked goods meet the company s quality standards in terms of appearance texture and taste.
Inspect the bakery environment for cleanliness and ensure that all equipment is maintained in good condition.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure consistency and uniformity in all products.

4. Customer Service:

Assist in customer orders when needed offering advice on baked goods and custom orders.
Ensure a clean friendly and welcoming environment in the bakery.

5. Cleanliness and Hygiene:

Maintain a clean and organized workstation adhering to health and safety standards.
Ensure proper sanitation of all equipment tools and work areas to meet local food safety regulations.

6. Equipment Maintenance:

Operate and maintain baking equipment such as ovens mixers and dough machines.
Conduct regular checks and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 23 years of experience working as a Baker in a bakery caf or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques bread and pastry preparation and cake decoration.
Experience in baking a wide range of products including bread cakes cookies pastries etc.

Skills:

Excellent baking and decorating skills with a good eye for detail.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to follow recipes accurately and produce consistent results.
Good time management skills and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in baking or culinary arts is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
Ability to lift heavy bags of flour and other ingredients as needed.
