Job Summary
Job Title: Head of Early Years/Teacher
Location: Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates (Private School)
Start Date: August 2025
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Early Years/Teacher to lead our early childhood education program. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to shape the foundation of young learners’ education while also leading a team of early years teachers. If you are a visionary leader with a deep understanding of early childhood education we want to hear from you! UAE experience is preferable.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum ensuring highquality teaching and learning outcomes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Early Years teachers fostering a collaborative and inspiring teaching environment.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and development.
- Ensure that the EYFS framework is followed incorporating best practices in early childhood education.
- Monitor and assess student progress ensuring tailored support for individual learning needs.
- Maintain open communication with parents providing updates on student progress and development.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in early childhood education and implement new methodologies where appropriate.
- Collaborate with school leadership to align Early Years education with the overall school vision and goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience within the UK National Curriculum.
- At least 5 years’ experience as Head of Early Years.
- Employment stability is required.
- Native English speaker.
