Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality & Sustainability Manager to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah United Arab this critical role you will be responsible for developing implementing and overseeing quality management systems and sustainability initiatives across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality management and sustainability strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Lead and manage quality control processes ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices
- Spearhead sustainability initiatives focusing on reducing environmental impact and promoting resource efficiency
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in quality and sustainability performance
- Analyze data and prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and sustainability indicators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality and sustainability practices into all aspects of operations
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on quality management and sustainability principles
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards
- Implement and maintain quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 )
- Identify and mitigate potential risks related to quality and sustainability
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in quality management and sustainability
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality management and sustainability roles preferably in luxury hospitality
- Proven expertise in implementing and managing quality management systems and sustainability initiatives
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis reporting and project management
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in quality management and environmental management software systems
- Professional certifications such as ISO 9001 ISO 14001 ISO 22000 GSTC are highly desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge of sustainable business practices and their implementation in corporate settings
- Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to quality food safety and sustainability
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
