What are we looking for

A Chef de Partie serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitude behaviours skills and values that follow:

  • Strong coaching and training skills with the ability to prepare training plans for your section
  • Ability and desire to motivate teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Achieved Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
  • Must have full knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene practices
  • Must be able to follow and set standards in the kitchen department at all times
  • Good knowledge of classical cooking techniques and modern culinary trends

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Previous kitchen experience in a similar role ideally within a hotel
  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Knowledge of current food trends and innovative culinary practices

A Chef de Partie is responsible for supervising team members and ensuring high levels of food preparation to deliver an excellent Guest experience while assisting with food cost controls. A Chef de Partie will also be required to lead and motivate a team maintain high standards of hygiene and contribute to menu development.
