You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Inventory Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all inventory-related activities to ensure optimal stock levels accuracy and efficiency across the organization. This role manages inventory control processes leads the inventory team collaborates with cross-functional departments and ensures that inventory practices support business objectives and customer demand.
Develop and implement inventory management strategies policies and procedures to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize shrinkage.
Oversee daily inventory operations across all warehouses distribution centers and retail (or production) locations.
Monitor inventory levels stock movements and discrepancies to ensure accuracy and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Lead and manage regular inventory audits cycle counts and reconciliation processes.
Coordinate with procurement warehouse sales production and logistics teams to ensure seamless inventory flow.
Implement and manage inventory control systems and software (e.g. ERP WMS).
Analyze inventory data and generate reports on KPIs such as turnover rates accuracy aging stock and forecasting needs.
Train mentor and manage the inventory operations team to ensure high performance and accountability.
Identify process improvement opportunities and lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with company policies industry standards and safety regulations related to inventory handling and storage.
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field.
5 years of experience in inventory management logistics or warehouse operations including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite WMS).
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent leadership communication and team management abilities.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Knowledge of lean principles or Six Sigma is a plus.
