Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads a team of Engineers in the project team and coordination of project resources to ensure that his assigned area meets client contractual requirements in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
- Responsible for all the phases of the Project and disciplines activities as applicable for the assigned area including all the HSSE Quality Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning. Responsibilities also cover schedule and cost adherence and coordination.
- Interface with Owners representatives
- Closely coordinate with Engineering and participate in / contribute to Engineering / technical decisions taking into consideration Constructability and Project requirements schedule and cost adherence.
- Participate in Design reviews.
- Closely coordinate preorder activities and resolve technical issues to ensure timely placement of Purchase Orders.
- Monitor performance of suppliers and subcontractors to determine compliance with Contractual obligations.
- Manage the preparation and presentation of the final documentation and liaise with the Owner for the issuance of the acceptance certificates.
- Provide leadership to project engineers and team to plan monitor and control the execution of the assigned area within the time and budgetary parameters.
Functional Competence
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of all phases and sequence of Project execution.
- Application of multidiscipline technical knowledge.
- Possesses knowledge and experience to identify and resolve conflicts.
- Able to review and ensure delivery of Contract requirements.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of all phases and sequencing of construction execution and standard requirements and process related to field change documents.
- Able to plan & administer project resources.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- An engineering degree with a minimum of 10 yrs of Project and Construction management experience in the oil and gas construction sector or Modular building construction sector.
- Through knowledge and understanding of all phases and sequence of work in Project & construction Management.
- Exposure to Client interactions and discussions.
UAE driving license
Note: Immediate joiners are preferred Maximum within 30 days of notice period. Depending on experience candidates may be considered for either a Senior Project Engineer or a Project Engineer role.
