Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Floorman to join our team. As a Floorman you will play a critical role in the drilling process ensuring the safe and efficient operation of drilling equipment and machinery. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the rigup and rigdown of drilling equipment including handling and assembling drill pipes drill collars and other equipment. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment including changing out worn or damaged parts. Operate drilling machinery such as tongs slips and elevators under the direction of the driller. Monitor drilling operations and report any issues or concerns to the driller. Assist in the loading and unloading of drilling equipment and supplies. Keep the drilling floor and surrounding areas clean and free of hazards. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with team members and other personnel on the rig. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Floorman in the oil and gas industry. Experience operating drilling equipment and machinery. Knowledge of drilling operations and safety protocols. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work long hours and be oncall as needed. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.
