Job Description
Job Description: Logistics Officer
Location: UAE
Salary:AED
Language: Proficient in English
Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in handling both air freight and sea freight operations.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics within the UAE particularly in the shipping industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Freight Management: Coordinate and oversee air and sea freight shipments ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and timely delivery.
- Documentation: Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation including bills of lading packing lists and customs declarations.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with shipping lines airlines freight forwarders and other thirdparty logistics providers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing delays.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries resolving issues and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Cost Control: Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on logistics activities performance and issues.
