Job Description

Position: Help Desk Support Specialist – Temp to perm
Location: Concord, CA
Hybrid – In office and remote (upon completion of training)
Schedule – Every other Friday off - Flexible
Salary: Up to $25/hr depending on qualifications and experience.

  • Provide outstanding customer support in person, over the phone, by email, Microsoft Teams and via our ticketing system.
  • Document solutions and progress clearly communicating service timelines to our internal customers.
  • Provide exceptional attention to detail with regards to task completion and documenting solutions.
  • Follow escalation procedures and respond to internal customers within Service Level Agreement guidelines.
  • Ensure complete and accurate deployment of equipment including responsibility for associated inventory control.
  • Work closely with a system administrator to perform entry level network and server administration tasks.
  • Ability to identify where processes can be improved and communicate those changes to your team/manager to improve efficiency.
  • Meet internal customers onsite in the corporate office in Concord as needed to deploy and repair equipment.

  • 2-year technical degree, OR intensive technical Boot Camp experience (Experience will be considered in lieu of a formal education)
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Information Technology (IT).
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, climb under desks and any associated physical tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 365, and general computing principles.
  • Understanding of basic networking principles and technologies.
  • Basic understanding of Virtual Computing concepts and applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware and software with an understanding of the impact on the organization.
  • Previous help desk experience.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, VPN connections, and client/server relationships
  • Imaging software experience and deployments.
