Business Development and Operations Manager - Pura Eco Retreat
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. The role will focus in the business development, property management, operational efficiency, and enhancement of customer services at our eco-friendly retreat. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our hospitality operations, driving growth, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and explore new business opportunities to expand the eco retreat's reach and revenue streams.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth, including marketing initiatives, partnerships, and promotional activities.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies.
- Efficiency of Processes:
- Streamline and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
- Identify bottlenecks and areas of improvement to increase productivity and effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain effective inventory management, procurement, and supply chain practices.
- Customer Service Enhancement:
- Develop and implement strategies to elevate the guest experience, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Implement guest feedback mechanisms and monitor reviews to continuously improve services and address concerns.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Delegate tasks, set performance goals, and provide regular feedback to ensure team members are aligned with the retreat's objectives.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, tracking expenses and revenue, and making data-driven decisions to optimize financial performance.
- Monitor and analyse financial reports to identify opportunities for cost-saving and revenue enhancement.
- Implement pricing strategies that balance profitability with customer value.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience (8+ years) in operations management, business development, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of sustainable practices and eco-friendly initiatives.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project management, financial analysis, and customer relationship management.
- Passion for environmental conservation and commitment to the retreat's mission.
