Acute Medicine Specialist

• Examining patients on admission to evaluate medical problems
• Providing immediate emergency care for acutely ill patients
• Providing ongoing medical care to acutely ill patients
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals in the hospital and working as a team to ensure quality patient care
• Providing medical advice to other members of the healthcare team
• Developing and implementing treatment plans for acutely ill patients
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documenting patient care

Requirements

• Must have a medical degree from an accredited institution
• Must have completed a residency in internal medicine
• Must be certified by the relevant medical board
• Must have at least 3 years of work experience
• Must have excellent diagnostic skills and be able to work under pressure
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be willing to work in a team-oriented environment and be able to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals
