Zumba Instructor

Responsibilities

• Lead Zumba classes in an upbeat, energetic, and safe manner
• Plan and create choreography for Zumba classes to keep it fresh and interesting for clients
• Provide modifications and progressions to accommodate participants of all fitness levels and abilities
• Encourage and motivate participants to push themselves and have fun during the workout
• Educate participants on proper form and technique to maximize the effectiveness of the workout
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting clients before and after classes
• Maintain a clean and organized studio space
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on new Zumba techniques and trends
  

Qualifications

• Current Zumba instructor certification
• Previous group fitness teaching experience is preferred
• Energetic and passionate about Zumba and helping others achieve their fitness goals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and motivating atmosphere for clients
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and demonstrate exercises while teaching
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
