Well Testing Supervisor - AUH

We are looking for a Well Testing Supervisor for one of our Oilfield Services client in U.A.E.

Job Overview:

As a Well Testing Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of well testing operations to ensure the efficient and safe extraction of hydrocarbons from oil and gas wells. This role requires a combination of technical expertise leadership skills and a strong commitment to safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate well testing activities including flowback production testing and reservoir evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with established procedures safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
• Collaborate with drilling and completion teams to optimize well testing processes.
• Lead a team of well testing technicians and operators providing guidance training and support.
• Foster a culture of safety professionalism and continuous improvement within the team.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Oversee the deployment and maintenance of well testing equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot any operational issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform routine equipment inspections and repairs.
• Analyze well test data to evaluate reservoir performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on well testing activities including production rates fluid properties and any anomalies.
• Provide recommendations for well and reservoir management based on data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations related to well testing operations.
• Work closely with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for well testing operations.
• Conduct regular drills and training exercises to ensure the team is prepared to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree OR Industrial diploma is a MUST.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Petroleum Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in well testing operations and proficiency in handling special technical requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Familiarity with relevant safety standards and a strong understanding of environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problemsolving mindset and the ability to make sound decisions in dynamic
• Gulf experience is a plus.
