Welding and Piping QAQC Engineer

Job Description

Review the WPQ,PQR/WPS,welding map,check list • Raw material inspection : Visual, dimension, verification of correctness, identification and correlation with manufacturer’s test certificate. • Familiar with different materials (Pipes, Fittings & Plates) of Carbon steel, Low alloy steel, high alloy steel and stainless steel. • Check fit-up’s are as per drawings, standards and specifications & Inspection at Various stages like fit-up and Dimensional Inspection • Perform Dimensional & Visual examination upon completion & Inspection of weld edge preparation & Fit-ups as per Approved Drawings • Detailed documentation regarding completing the NDT requirements and spool release for Coating. ▪ Carried out the site walk down for the construction completed packages and giving punches & Verify all the B and C punches are closed • Witnessing the Hydro testing and preparing the Final inspection reports • Familiar with ASME B16.5, SEC V,SEC VIII,SEC IX,ASME B31.1 ▪ Fabrication and welding inspection according to standards and specifications by ASME.(ASME code Sec II,V,VII,IX,ASME B31.1,B31.3)

Desired Candidate Profile

1.Familiar with ASME standard and API650, more than 3 years of management experience in pipeline installation and welding 2.More than 5 years of management experience in the installation of static and rotating equipment
