Video Content Creator

Job Purpose

Transform raw clips and video footage into highquality finished videos used to inform engage and

inspire their audience. Use specialized software applications and editing tools to merge content from

multiple sources and add pictures graphics visual effects voice sound effects and music.

Minimum Qualifications/Education/Experience/Training/Knowledge:

• Bachelors degree in Film cinematography or related field
• Minimum 3 years of video editing and postproduction experience
• Proven experience in creating engaging content on different social media platformsTwitter TikTok Facebook Instagram and YouTube
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer Lightworks Premiere After Effects and Final Cut)
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing motivation and continuity
• Familiarity with special effects 3D and compositing

Skills and Knowledge:

• Excellent listening and presentation abilities
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Proficient in various nonlinear video editing tools and other software (Final Cut Pro Adobe After Effects Edius Adobe Premiere Photoshop Lightroom Adobe Cloud)
• Can selfshoot and edit with some motion skills.
• Experience and good understanding of motion graphics and animation
• Deep understanding of digital trends and editing principles
• Strong organizational analytical and problemsolving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.
• A passion for production an eye for quality
