We are looking for a Data Warehouse and Reporting developer to work in Brussels with the European Commission.

Due to the particular nature of a large international organization such as the European Commission, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:

Description of tasks:

• Development and maintenance on Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW).
  
• Gathering business requirements.
  
• Designing ETL processes.
  
• Data modeling.
  
• Design and development of reporting applications.
  
• Physical DB design.
  
• DB performance analysis.
  
• Design of Data Quality and Health Monitoring processes.
  
• Elaboration of test programs.
  
• Writing of technical documentation.
  
• Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system.
  
• Participation in meetings with other project teams.
  

Requirements

Must Have:

• Excellent knowledge of Qlik Sense
  
• Excellent knowledge of ETL processes with a dedicated ETL tool or SQL scripting
  
• Knowledge of SAP Business Objects
  
• Good knowledge of data warehouse design & architecture.
  
• Good knowledge of relational database systems applied to data warehouses.
  
• Good knowledge of SQL
  
• Good knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools.
  
• Good knowledge of online analytical data processing (OLAP)
  
• Experience with Data Mining tools
  
• Englsih Level C1+
  
• French Level B1+
  
• EU National or Permanent Resident

Benefits

Location: Brussels - (on site/hybrid/ need to be located in Belgium or wants to relocate)

Daily rate: 310 EUR Gross/ Day - all inclusive with NET30 payment

Years of experience: 10+

Contract Duration: 1 year with Extensions up to 4 years

This includes continuous monitoring and making improvements to those solutions, working with an information security team. 2+ years of experience in testing complex systems Experience In consulting and designing IT Security Systems Practical knowledge of cloud computing and security: data breaches, broken authentication, hacking, account hijacking, malicious insiders, third parties, APTs, data loss and DoS attacks.
