Key Performance Area:
• Work as part of the production team, preparing, cooking, and dispatching food on a daily basis, ensuring consistency of presentation, production quantities, and portion control as per standardized menus and/or recipes.
• Set up all front production food areas ensuring the chain unit is ready to work
• Use the production equipment as per the Standard Operating Procedures • Ensure that the finished products are correctly labeled
• Ensure that no Expiry products are used in the production cycle
• Ensure that Product traceability is maintained by identifying which batch is used in which production
• Undertake cleaning duties including general cleaning of equipment and production area Skills & Knowledge:
• Understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.
• Current holder of food hygiene qualification and certificate
• Expertise in relevant Food Production areas (Kitchen, Bakery or Pastry)
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Food Quality Standards
• Good clear communication skills. Experience: 3 to 5 years experience within a specific skill set. (Kitchen, Bakery or Pastry)
