- Comply with safety rules and regulations. Be fully aware of the safety hazards in the plant. 2. Familiar with plant O&M agreements, P&IDs, SOPs, Work instructions, Operation and control logics, emergency operation procedures, as well as regulatory requirements and any other related documents. 3. Ensure that the plant is operated to the established standards with minimum risk to men, machine and materials, comply with safety and environmental standards. 4. Coordinate with all other departments all activities that are related to plant operations during the shift and comply with safety rules and regulations. Have a complete understanding of the permit to work system applied to the plant. Issue and cancel permits to work per authorization. Coordinate activities involving plant chemistry with the Chemist.
