You will be responsible for supporting the Project Director the entire fitout process of a construction project. Fitouts involve the interior design layout and installation of fixtures and furnishings in a commercial or residential space to meet the clients requirements. The Project Director Fitouts plays a crucial role in ensuring that the fitout project is completed on time within budget and meets the quality standards set by the client. Here is a typical job description and requirements for a Project Director Fitouts:

1. Project Planning:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan for fitouts considering the clients specifications and requirements.
• Create timelines and milestones for each phase of the fitout project.

2. Budget Management:

• Establish and manage the project budget ensuring that costs are controlled and aligned with the clients financial constraints.
• Monitor expenses identify costsaving opportunities and report financial status to stakeholders.

3. Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of professionals including architects designers contractors and subcontractors.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members to ensure project success.

4. Client Collaboration:

• Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and the client.
• Provide regular updates to the client on project progress address concerns and ensure client satisfaction.

5. Quality Assurance:

• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that the fitout meets industry standards and client expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections and reviews to identify and address any issues promptly.

6. Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Anticipate challenges and proactively address issues that may arise during the fitout process.

7. Compliance and Regulations:

• Ensure that all fitout activities comply with relevant building codes regulations and safety standards.
• Stay informed about industry trends best practices and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

1. Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture Construction Management or a related field.

2. Experience:

• 15 years of experience in project management particularly in fitouts or interior construction projects (Commercial & Retail) in KSA/GCC.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering fitout projects on time and within budget.

3. Skills:

• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of construction and fitout processes materials and methods.

4. Leadership:

• Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions and solve problems effectively.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and unexpected challenges.

5. Technology:

• Proficiency in project management software as well as design and drafting tools.
• Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) is a plus.

6. Certifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications are advantageous.

7. Flexibility:

• Willingness to travel as needed and work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.

8. Attention to Detail:

• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the quality and accuracy of fitout work.
