Senior Internal Auditor - Energy Company

Conduct comprehensive internal audits of energy companies to evaluate the effectiveness of financial controls operational processes and compliance with regulatory standards.

1. Develop and implement audit plans methodologies and procedures tailored to the unique characteristics and risks associated with energy industry operations.
   
2. Perform detailed testing and analysis of financial data transactions and operational activities to identify potential areas of risk inefficiency or noncompliance.
   
3. Prepare clear and concise audit reports detailing findings recommendations and action plans to address identified issues and improve internal controls.
   
4. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure audit findings are effectively communicated understood and remediated in a timely manner.
   
5. Stay abreast of emerging trends regulatory changes and best practices in the energy sector to enhance audit methodologies and maintain compliance with industry standards.
   
6. Provide guidance and support to junior audit staff including mentoring training and reviewing their work to ensure quality and consistency in audit processes.
   
7. Foster positive working relationships with key stakeholders including senior management department heads and external auditors to facilitate open communication and cooperation throughout the audit process.
