Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial support and assistance to the Operating Finance Manager in sales contracts

• Assist in preparation / review the management accounts for the business • Assist in uploading of monthly financials / budgets / forecasts to group consolidation system

• Assist in preparation budgets and forecasts in consultation with the FM and management team and assistance from shared services team

• Assist in analyzing business performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that enable management to track progress against budgets and also improve financial performance

• Work closely with the OFM in the day to day performance management of the laboratory

• Assist in management and concluding the statutory obligations from an accounting point of view (e.g. year-end statutory audit)

• Assist in managing the direct and indirect taxation of the business

• Assist in managing the credit control function of the laboratory coordinating with a team of credit controllers
