Security Assistant

Specific Tasking

• Administer visitor control program, coordinate and permit access to controlled spaces in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Maintain the visitor control and badging system that supports SAP and SCI visit requirements which includes accurate visitor identification; preparation and destruction of visitor badges; escort uncleared visitors.
• Execute and support security policies and procedures that ensure classified information is always protected.
• Responsible for backing up the Security Manager and/or Security Administrative position as needed.
• Candidate must be able to support various work hours during normal business hours.
  

Basic Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with at least 3 years of experience in a government security environment.
• A current Top-Secret Clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years is required
• Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
