- Teach science subject in accordance with school district procedures and state laws.
- Develop interesting and interactive classroom learning environment for students.
- Use innovative instructional methodologies/materials to conduct classes in proactive, stimulating and effective manner.
- Perform periodic assessment to evaluate and improve each student’s academic skills and social growth.
- Develop and implement coherent curriculum plan to ensure student academic development.
- Develop lesson plans and materials to ensure student’s academic success.
- Maintain neat and clean classroom environment.
- Coordinate with other teachers to continuously improve curriculum plan for student.
- Maintain accurate and complete student records such as progress reports, attendance reports, parent contacts, etc. as defined by district policy and school administration.
- Participate in curriculum development programs, staff development programs, faculty meetings and other school committee activities as required.
- Identify learning problems of students and provide additional assistance/support as needed.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining school supplies and facilities.
- Assist in general supervision of students inside and outside the classroom.
- Develop student behavioral standards to maintain safe and disciplined environment within classrooms and entire school.
- Coordinate regular communication with parents regarding their children’s performance.
