School Nurse Female Only

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Female School Nurse to provide comprehensive health services and support to students in our educational community. As a School Nurse you will play a vital role in promoting student wellness managing healthrelated issues and creating a safe and healthy school environment conducive to learning.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. or related field preferred.
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Proven experience working as a nurse in a healthcare setting preferably with pediatric or adolescent populations.
Knowledge of child and adolescent health issues developmental stages and common medical conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with students parents school staff and healthcare providers.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in patient care.
Responsibilities:
1.Provide direct nursing care to students with acute or chronic health conditions injuries or illnesses including administering medications monitoring vital signs and assessing symptoms.
2.Conduct health screenings assessments and immunization reviews to ensure compliance with state health requirements and identify students health concerns or needs.
3.Develop and implement individualized health care plans (IHCPs) or emergency action plans (EAPs) for students with specialized healthcare needs in collaboration with parents physicians and school personnel.
4.Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid CPR or other lifesaving interventions as needed following established protocols and procedures.
5.Maintain accurate and confidential health records for students including documentation of assessments treatments referrals and followup care.
6.Collaborate with school administrators counselors and support staff to address student health and wellness issues promote a positive school climate and support academic success.
7.Participate in interdisciplinary teams committees and schoolbased initiatives related to student health safety and wellbeing.
8.Stay informed about relevant laws regulations and best practices in school nursing pediatric healthcare and public health.
