The InterContinental Hotels Group properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotel brands. These include the luxury brand InterContinental the superior upscale Crowne Plaza the lavish longstay InterContinental Residence Suites and the vibrant midscale Holiday Inn. In addition to over 1000 bedrooms the four properties boast a selection of high quality restaurants and bars an impressive 3800 square meter Event Centre across two levels the 5000 square meters Festival Arena by InterContinental the luxurious Spa InterContinental stateoftheart gymnasium and swimming pool facilities. A little taste of your daytoday

• With the Sales Manager plan sales strategy and implement tactics to achieve the budget.
• Sell all aspects of the hotel and crosssell other InterContinental Hotels Group properties.
• Establish new business and maintain existing business accounts through the preparation and execution of action plans.
• Convert sales leads.
• Handle accounts/prospects jointly with senior positions.
• Solicit and close business according to established parameters.
• Conduct familiarization visits and site inspections.
• Maintain a regular sales call pattern.
• Monitor the competitive set and communicate tactical changes to the Manager.
• Attend regular meetings.
• Entertain prospects and existing key accounts with the aim of sustaining business and generating further sales.
• Report as required on sales activities and successes.
• Participate in conducting client interviews.
• Maintain regular contact with the IHG regional network of hotels and reservation centers.
• Monitor competitor activities.
• Build a profile in the marketplace.
• Assist the Sales Manager with collateral distribution and direct mail campaigns.
• Develop and maintain contacts with business generators meeting and convention planners visitors travel agents tour operators airlines corporate accounts Government department and other producers closely allied to the Hotel Business.
• Work in line with business requirements.

What we need from you

• Bachelors degree in Business Hospitality Marketing or a related field (preferred).
• 1 year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of the hotels offerings services and pricing structures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft applications and Opera.
