- Maintains and administers the Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Standards at the terminals.
- Conducts internal audits regularly, in line with maintaining IMS and SQAS processes, consistently.
- Monitors terminal safety and security, and local regulations and conducts periodic inspections, identifies and implements improvements.
- Conducts Safety inductions and trainings and Safety Committee Meetings, as well as periodic refresher trainings, and pro-active communication of safety topics and alerts through multiple channels, as needed.
- Keeps up to date with new legislation and maintains a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employer's industry.
- Conducts accident investigations and periodic inspections of operational assets including firefighting equipment, first aid equipment, alarm systems, and lifting gears.
- Examines potential unsafe working conditions and implements corrective/preventative actions.
- Involves and participates in the identification and safe disposal of hazardous substances.
- Reviews operational risk assessments and ensures readiness pertinent to emergency response plans and running periodic mock drills.
