Risk Analyst Threat Evaluation

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (International Relations, Global/International Security, Terrorism, Political Science, etc.)
• Proven experience with security information gathering and analysis
• Strong English writing and speaking skills
• Strong familiarity with the Middle East and/or Sub-Saharan Africa
• Strong self-discipline and self-management skills, able to work effectively as part of a team or on a single contributor project.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field (International Relations, Global/International Security, Terrorism, Political Science, etc.).
• Military/government/law enforcement/corporate security, logistics and/or risk management experience
• Fluency in Turkish, Zulu, Afrikaans, Xhosa, or another South African language.
• Familiarity and mastery of various technology platforms, such as geospatial tools; news aggregators; and, scraping platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple, competing deadlines, with excellent attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and ability to communicate with all levels of business leadership and staff.
