Right of Way Agent I

Qualifications

• Knowledge of public records examination to determine surface ownership rights
• Knowledge of pipeline construction practices, current environmental and archaeological and governmental regulations
• Knowledge of Real Estate law, practices, procedures, methods, terminology and issues
• Knowledge of local, county and/or state policies on tax-proration
• Knowledge of local housing, zoning & building codes, construction and permit requirements
• Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, city, state & federal requirements related to property management & relocation
• Ability to read, understand and interpret mapping, right of way and construction plans, company drawings, etc.
• Ability to independently and accurately research and investigate titles to determine property ownership, mortgages, liens, judgements against the property, oil, gas, coach, mineral, surface and sub-surface rights
• Ability to independently inventory and inspect property
• Demonstrates successful negotiations with the landowners, tenants, attorneys and permit agencies to obtain results which are in the best interest of the company
• Demonstrates organization and project planning skills
