Job Purpose
- The Group Head of Academics is having a central role in sustaining stimulating and collegial environments that contribute to Leams Education being a centre of academic excellence.Responsible for providing leadership for academic team and students to develop a vibrant, diverse culture focused on research, teaching and learning, and external engagement.
- Leading the Leams successful school framework by planning, design, delivery and evaluation of SEF & school development plans to support Group School Principals across LEAMS Education. Consult with School Principals to assess academic team development needs and provide solutions, helping us drive continuous improvement in the way we attract, develop and create meaningful work experiences throughout LEAMS Education.
- This position leads the strategic teaching and learning across academic team of group schools & is responsible for providing learning, leadership & strategy that addresses current and future training challenges by providing consistent learning opportunities through effective needs assessments, curriculum design, and evaluation. This position plays a key leadership role in driving organization effectiveness, change management, team analytics, succession planning, career pathing, leadership development and competency management by focusing on high-value initiatives.
- The Academic Head position is integral to the success of LEAMS Educations mission of achieving excellence in Education, to ensure that learning and development happen across the academic team by determining specific training needs.
- Focus on moving all the group schools towards the next level of academic improvement.
- Prepare all supporting information for the KHDA inspections & audits and liaise with the school governing body as necessary.
- Respond to KHDA inspection reports and oversee required actions to address deficiencies.
Teaching & Learning & Assessment Strategies
- Lead excellence in teaching and the provision of an enriching student learning experience by promoting strong research-teaching synergies, and fostering innovative and flexible teaching delivery.
- Develop innovative, engaging, and challenging learning designs that actively boost the competency and capabilities of the academic leadership team.
- Ensure student data is systematically obtained and recorded; student attainment, progress and achievement are effectively analysed and used to inform decision-making and curriculum planning, learning outcomes are triangulated and referenced with international benchmarks.
Qualification Required:
Candidates having Ph.D/Masters in Education and having experience working as Academic Managers/ Director/School Principals are preferred.

Leadership Duties: Drives and optimizes performance across academic team by identifying core competencies, benchmarking the team against those competencies, and then developing targeted training solutions to close performance gaps. Work closely with the BOD & School Principals to ensure that a proactive and high-quality approach is taken in delivering excellent academic results. Lead the development and implementation of appropriate best practices in teaching-learning & assessments, reporting and target setting to control and enhance academic objectives. Maintain a documented system of school governing policies and procedures. Act as the chairperson on school development plans, weighing in on new ideas. Analyze existing goals and programs and recommend improvements in overall Quality Assurance of group affiliated schools. Salary: 9000AED - 12500 AED (Negotiable)
