Registered Midwife Hindi or European Language Speaker

Our client a premier medical facility is currently looking for a Registered Midwife to be based in Eastern Province Saudi Arabia. For this role you will have the following responsibilities:

• Conduct prenatal assessments including physical examinations health history reviews and diagnostic tests to monitor the progress of pregnancy and identify any potential complications.
  
• Provide counseling and support to expectant mothers and their families regarding prenatal care childbirth breastfeeding and newborn care.
  
• Assist with childbirth by monitoring maternal and fetal wellbeing providing pain management techniques and offering emotional support during labor and delivery.
  
• Perform newborn assessments including APGAR scoring vital sign monitoring and initial feeding support to ensure the health and wellbeing of the infant.
  
• Provide postpartum care to mothers and newborns including breastfeeding assistance maternal recovery monitoring and newborn screening tests.
  
• Educate new parents on infant care breastfeeding techniques postpartum recovery and contraception options to promote optimal maternal and infant health outcomes.
  
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including obstetricians pediatricians and lactation consultants to ensure comprehensive care for mothers and newborns.
  
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of prenatal childbirth and postpartum care provided to patients.
  
• Stay current on developments in obstetrics midwifery practices and maternalfetal medicine through continuing education and professional development activities.
  

Requirements

To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor s Degree in Midwifery from an Accredited School of Nursing/University OR Bachelor s Degree in Nursing with additional Midwifery qualification.
  
• Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Clinical Nursing.
  
• 2 years experience as Registered Midwife
  
• Must be eligible to take the SCFHS exam.
  
• Preferably with valid SCFHS Nursing Specialist/Technician license/certificate.
  
• Current license as a professional registered nurse.
  
• Proficient in English
