Quality Assurance Engineer - NOV Inc

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain company quality system to meet API Specification Q1 ISO 9001 and external customers specifications.
• Develop and maintain Quality Management System documents (procedures work instructions forms flowcharts).
• Plan and perform Internal audits.
• Plan and perform Supplier audits of new critical Arabian Rig Manufacturing suppliers and periodical audit of existing critical suppliers. Ensure all qualified suppliers can follow companys quality specifications.
• Perform risk assessment with respect to changes in key personnel organizational structure critical suppliers with a focus on quality and on time delivery. Develop and control mitigation actions.
• Perform QMS induction training of new employees and QMS trainings for different departments.
• Control calibration status of testing measuring and monitoring equipment (TMME). Ensure all TMME is in a state of calibration.
• Conduct periodic calibration or verification of all quality TMME.
• Communicate with relevant departments on potential quality system issues that may lead to nonconformances if unattended.
• Create corrective/preventive action reports review root causes analysis control implementation of actions and verify effectiveness of actions taken.
• Monitor KPIs and facility quality objectives & goals.
• Deal with internal & external Customers feedback on quality issues.
• Monitor and improve QMS processes. Identify improvement projects for business.
• Comply with HSE and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties as may be required to support the business.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Provide quality management system support to all Arabian Rig Manufacturing departments.

Skills and Experience Required:

• ISO 9001 and/or API Specification Q1 knowledge.
• API 4F 16A 8C knowledge.
• Analytical and problemsolving skills.

Qualification knowledge and experience:

• Graduate of a recognized university or technology institute with a bachelors degree or Diploma (4 years regular).
• Qualified Quality Management System Internal and Supplier auditor.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in internal or supplier audits.
• Minimum 5 years work experience in QA/ QC.

Key competencies/ skills:

• Experience in ISO 9001 and/or API Q1 & QMS management and development.
• Experience in document management processes.
• Excellent Written and Oral Communications Fluent in English.
• Demonstrable experience in quality Auditing.
• Proficiency in MS applications (Word Excel Visio PowerPoint etc.).
