Project Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a process orientated, ambitious Project Manager to become a key part of a forward-thinking and growing team. As well as working closely with a Senior PM or PD, supporting them with all aspects of project management on large-scale complex projects, you will also be responsible for owning and running smaller projects independently, delivering integrated work across a range of exciting clients, ensuring consistency and quality of delivery.

As the common thread on complex initiatives, you will be responsible for supporting the integration of creative components from account, planners, designers, copywriters, producers, and social media strategists (among others).

Motivated and keen to apply your knowledge you will begin to take responsibility for larger projects, bring an integrated teams vision to life, defining scope, budget, key milestones, timelines, and deliverables and ensuring that these deliverables connect with creative intent and meet time specifications and quality goals.

Responsibilities

o Obtain project briefs from clients and ensure the right information is secured to enable the project team to successfully meet client needs.

o Development and implementation of project plans/schedules

o Development of project budgets/estimates based on the project plans/schedules.

o Development of project scopes of work

o Oversee budgeting and resourcing of projects.

o Facilitate end to end delivery maintaining the project to time and budget.

o Maintain regular contact with clients and troubleshoot or escalate project risks as required.

o Liaise with and manage third party agencies on behalf of clients.

o Evaluate all projects upon completion, including future recommendations for client consideration.

o Help mentor and support junior team members and ensure you and your staff are constantly developing abilities

o Participate in cross-practice and cross-geographical teams to provide clients and prospects with the most compelling team and proposal.

o Work with account leads to introduce existing clients to relevant and new Edelman capabilities, including resources outside of your own group, to advance their business goals.

o Assist with the development of accurate project budgets using the firms financial system and effectively work within account budget parameters and deadlines.

o Manage day-to-day client budget issues to resolution.

o Track and monitor project financials (e.g., budget vs. actual)

Skills and Experience

o 2-4yrs experience working within a top global communications, advertising, or marketing in a project management (or equivalent production) role, with experience working in cross-functional teams.

o Good understanding of processes, workflows, tools and methodologies with knowledge of how to develop a clear project plan and documentation of deliverables, schedules and budgets for projects in Statements of Work

o Demonstrate understanding of core financial constructs including revenue, profitability, pricing structures (hourly vs. retainer accounts), budgeting and forecasting.

o Experience of managing projects between 50-100k+

o Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills
