Process Engineer

Responsibilities:

Review sales documentation for new projects to verify process calculations and equipment sizing conducted by the Sales Engineer.

Create and maintain project P&IDs ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate with the project team to select appropriate equipment and instrumentation for project execution.

Prepare projectrelated documentation including Data Sheets Preliminary Equipment List Instrument Index and Utility Consumption List.

Size various equipment such as PSV Blower Fans Pumps Tanks Control Valves and Combustion Ducting to meet project requirements.

Attend project meetings as required providing input and updates on process engineering aspects.

Contribute to the development of department standards procedures and sizing worksheets to enhance departmental efficiency and output.

Assist in new product development and design initiatives leveraging engineering expertise to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements

Bachelors degree (B.E. / B.TECH. / B.S.) in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

Min 5 or more years of experience in Process Engineering.

Proficiency in thermodynamics fluid dynamics and heat transfer principles.

Strong mathematical and computer skills with the ability to develop reports charts and graphs.

Basic understanding of field monitoring and measuring devices.

Ability to make educated decisions on equipment sizing based on engineering knowledge and experience.
