Optometrist - Part time

eyewa is looking for Optometrist as below details:

Responsibility:

• Eye health assessment: examine eye health for the common eye diseases and conditions diagnose & manage the case if possible or refer the case to the related health care practitioner.
• Visual statue assessment : examine the visual system health for common visual defects and conditions this include refractive errors binocular vision disorders and other related disorders.
• Contact lens fitting : ensure safe and guided lens wearing experience for the customer.
• Education and recommendation : educate the customer about their eye and visual health in simple terms.
• The doctor is responsible for the condition of the clinic and has to make it neat and clean at all times and welcoming to the customers.
• The Doctor holds the responsibility for the equipment inside the clinic and should spare it from anything that could do damage to it.
• The doctor is responsible for the request of any missing equipment needed for the examination according to government regulations.
• The doctor is responsible to report any issue with any equipment inside the clinic.
• The doctor must obtain approval from the optometry head ( or who is acting on his behalf ) before making any major changes inside the clinic or the equipment .
• The doctor is responsible for instant replenishment request for any missing power in the trials CL and align with the retail team to insure all CL running powers are always available.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree of Optometry.
• Must be a degree or equivalent degree approved and recognized within the respective country the Doctor will work in.
• Ability to work closely with optical dispensers sales assistants and other retail staff to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Must obtain the license to practice from the respective ministry / affairs.
