Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Draftsman with a solid background in building construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drafting mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems. This role requires a professional who can create detailed drawings that meet the requirements of our projects and comply with UAE regulations.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings including HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems for residential commercial and industrial buildings.
  
• Work closely with mechanical engineers and project managers to translate concepts and information into detailed technical drawings.
  
• Ensure all mechanical drawings comply with local regulations building codes and safety standards.
  
• Revise update and maintain mechanical drawings throughout the project lifecycle incorporating changes as directed by engineers.
  
• Use computeraided design (CAD) software to prepare drawings and layouts with precision and accuracy.
  
• Coordinate with other draftsmen and project team members to ensure consistency in design documentation.
  
• Participate in project meetings to provide updates on drawing progress and to discuss challenges.
  
• Manage and archive drawings and documentation efficiently ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 4 years of UAE experience in building construction specifically in mechanical drafting.
  
• Proficient in CAD software with a strong emphasis on AutoCAD and Revit.
