Manufacturing Engineering Manager - Thales

JOB OBJECTIV:

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will manage and coordinate STES manufacturing activities within the subcontractor facilities (SAEC Riyadh and SCC Riyadh) and be the primary point of contact at an operational / delivery level between the subcontractors and Thales OME UK.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The jobholder will part of a manufacturing team (including SAEC and SCC) to deliver products to schedule and quality.

The jobholder will be responsible for supporting the transfer of new products from the development environment into the production environment within STES subcontractors facilities and ensuring that the technical performance functionality and quality are maintained and delivered in accordance with the customers needs.

In a program environment the jobholder will be responsible for the planning estimating execution of engineering activities and management associated with the assembly and test of the product.

The jobholder will lead a crossfunction manufacturing team and work in conjunction with the Program Managers (STES & Thales UK) Industrial Architect (Thales UK) Manufacturing Engineer (Thales UK) Product Design Authority (Thales UK) and Systems Engineering Manager (Thales UK).

The jobholder will support the implementation of the manufacturing activities in accordance with the plans flowcharts within the constraints of the manufacturing environment.

The jobholder will be responsible for ensuring compliance of the activities within the Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations.

The jobholder will actively network with fellow engineers to improve their knowledge and domain experience.
