Maintenance Technician (Fleet & CNG)

• Carry out any jobs that need emergency rectification at filing plants, depots, plants, air conditioning, chillers and refrigerators. Attend to complaints received from end users and physically visit the site to ascertain the extent of the problem, carrying out any minor repairs, or contacting maintenance contractors for bigger problems.
  
• Inspect, monitor and follow-up the maintenance contractors to ensure that required standard of work is provided and all reported problems are rectified satisfactorily.
  
• Revisit sites having had problems to inspect and assess the work done, ensuring the problem is rectified as per standards and preparing a written report and submit to CNG Maintenance Supervisor.
  
• Check the preventive maintenance reports submitted by maintenance contractors for the air conditioning units and refrigeration in CNG filling stations, determining if any equipment is due for replacement, ensuring the required level of quality service is constantly provided, and submitting report to CNG Maintenance Supervisor along with recommendations.
  
• Check the 3 rd party contractor in carrying out a variety of maintenance jobs for the CNG filling stations, undertaking daily rotational checking and inspection of electro-mechanical areas such as air condition, UPS, chillers, electrical switch gear, MCC room, panel boards, building management system, control room, fire alarm system, public address systems, access control system, elevator, cradle items and civil works. Rectify any minor problems of urgent nature and report any major problems to the CNG Maintenance Supervisor and maintenance contractor. Review the daily check list generated by the Contractor as per the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly schedule service reports.
  
• Guide the maintenance contractor to access the various utilities installed in the CNG filling stations in accordance with the as-built drawings, providing the necessary information to perform the various preventive/ breakdown maintenance works.
  
• Purchase and locally procure small electrical items of urgent nature using petty cash.
  
• Attend to various complaints at CNG filling stations related to maintenance received through the MAXIMO system for air conditioning and refrigeration.
  
• Operate and maintain the projectors, audio video systems, sound system and P.A. systems in CNG filling stations auditorium and other conference halls.
  
• Conduct regular routine tests as per the Predictive Maintenance schedule for fire alarm, fire pumps, security system, access control system, standby generator, standby emergency chiller and emergency light to ensure proper functioning.
  
• Attend all assigned breakdowns promptly, carry out necessary repair works and ensure that equipment is returned to service as soon as possible, while ensuring all safety precautions are taken.
  
• Ensure the safety instructions are rigidly adhered to during all stages of the work in a hazardous area (safety checks).
  
• Undertake filing duties of the entire completed Predictive Maintenance schedule on a regular basis in order to maintain updated records, carrying out duties of other Maintenance Technicians during their absent/ annual leave.
  
• Attend to end user queries and requests in the Supervisor’s absence.
  

Requirements

• Oil & Gas background
  
• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical and Wiring Repairs, or equivalent
  
• 3 to 5 years of experience
