The company is seeking for an experienced Maintenance Manufacturing Engineer to work with Mechanical Services Shops Department (MSSD) / Planning and Technical Services Division in Abqaiq and Jeddah having hands on experience in manufacturing industry. Candidate should have excellent experience in understanding and reviewing manufacturing drawings of spare parts used in rotating equipment industry. Candidate must have experience in CNC 5Axis machining and cutting tools including relevant programming CAD and CAM applications i.e. NX Siemens and Solidworks etc. Candidate with experience in reverse engineering field is highly preferable. Last but not the least candidates must ability to train and develop other young engineers. MSSD has stateoftheart workshops and facilities that are driven by our most valuable asset which is the department s skilled and experienced workforce. Its primary responsibility is to maintain the company s rotating and stationary equipment. The department plays a vital role in the company as it provides support to all field organizations by maintaining and repairing corporate equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to spare parts manufacturing of rotating equipment including process selection manufacturing plans and CAM programming.
- Provide technical consultation to Shops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops.
- Support field installation maintenance and repair of rotating equipment.
- Troubleshoot repair modify existing equipment and Identify cost reductions & process improvements.
- Ability to prepare design engineering packages of rotating equipment.
- Preform technical investigation for shop repair return jobs to identify root cause of failure corrective repair actions and lesson learned.
- Introduce the latest technology in manufacturing methodology.
- Develop and revise department s technical procedures and standards.
- Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to junior engineers quality inspectors and technicians.
- Provide technical input for purchasing specifications including technical proposal evaluation.
- Liaise with Department engineers Consulting Services Department (CSD) other Departments and manufacturers.
- Liaise with InHouse Repair Units Quality Assurance units InKingdom Contractors and vendor & manufacture in developing evaluation and implementing shop repair work scopes
- Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 20 years in Manufacturing field as stipulated above under position description.
- Experience in the mechanical design and manufacturing of major rotating equipment such as gas compressors steam turbine pump diesel engine and gearbox.
- Experience on rotating equipment with original equipment manufacturing facility or equivalent certified repairing facility
- Excellent English reading and writing
A successful candidate should hold a Bachelor s degree from a recognized and approved program in the fields of journalism, communications or related field with equivalent experience. An advanced degree is preferred. Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience in journalism, media relations or corporate communications, gained in either an agency or in-house corporate setting ideally with previous experience of the energy, oil and gas sectors. Candidate should have previous experience as spokesperson is preferred, while a proven track record in crisis communications is also an advantage. Candidate should have strong networking skills are essential and the role requires a strong understanding and experience of working in the media or public relations field. Candidate should be able to develop and maintain networks, perform well under pressure and handle a variety of requests. Candidate should be fixable and have good organizational skills. Candidates should also be detail-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability. Candidate should have strong interpersonal skills. Candidate should also be trustworthy, displaying responsibility and care when handling confidential or sensitive topics.
