A Snapshot of Your Day
The position involves efficiently managing Local Content (LC) activities adhering to defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments. To implement and monitor Local Content within contract execution processes starting from the RFP stage until closure of the contract to ensure optimizing Local Content during the execution activities.
How Youll Make an Impact
- The individual is responsible for overseeing all local content requirements initiatives across the business unit.
- The implementation plan for the LC will be monitored and reported to the business unit to ensure meeting the minimum committed score.
- Create a strategy to meet the upcoming LC requirements.
- The business unit is mandated to selfreport annual and quarterly contracts in accordance with LC requirements with the process approved by a thirdparty auditor at the end of the contract this activity will be carried out by this role.
- Continues dialog with supporting function to improve training activities and other factors to enhance the LC score further.
- Support the evaluation of annual performance of entities and conduct the needed research to provide recommendations to reward or penalize accordingly.
- Lead the activities related to supporting the government entities in reviewing the proposals submitted by the bidders.
- Lead the activities related to updating and upgrading the data acquisition processes addition or exception requests.
- Lead the activities related to setting minimum Local Content threshold for the different types of projects and involve different internal or externa stakeholders as required.
What you Bring
- Bachelors degree in economics Management Engineering or any related field.
- Sensitive and responsive to the needs of different religious ethnic tribal and cultural groups.
- Proven integrity and high personal standards of behaviour.
- Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural environment as well as proven interpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage with diverse audiences.
- Relationship Management / Communication Proficient
- Risk Assessment & Management Proficient
- Process Development Proficient
- Data Collection and Analysis Proficient
- Supplier / Vendor Management Proficient
- Reporting Proficient
- Excellent command of English
- Preferably for Saudi Arabian nationals. Women are highly encouraged to apply.
