Lead Physiotherapist

Our client, a premier Physiotherapy and Orthopedic Centre, is currently looking for a Lead Physiotherapist that specializes in Musculoskeletal, Orthopedic and Neuro spinal to be based in Abu Dhabi. For this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Leads and directs physiotherapy service provision within the facility to ensure standardisation.
• Responsible for providing and ensuring safe, effective, evidence based and interdisciplinary therapy, adult and paediatric services within their professional scopes, in a physiotherapy center
• Is responsible for the overall Physiotherapy management, service delivery and evaluation of the therapy department, which includes leadership/participation in strategic planning, business development; programme evaluation, mentoring and general operations
• To perform physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse and complex conditions, to provide a physiotherapy diagnosis and to develop and deliver a patient focused treatment programme.
• To be responsible for own caseload working without direct supervision. All aspects of clinical duties will be undertaken as an autonomous practitioner.
• To ensure a high standard of clinical care to inpatient and hydrotherapy patients under your management.
• Assisting in the safe, effective and efficient management of the department with allocated resources.
• Promoting a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research, evidence-based practice and the developmental of additional clinical skills in the specialty

Requirements

To be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor s degree / MSc in Physical Therapy
• At least 3-5 years of experience managing a Physiotherapy center. Willing to work for 48 hours per week / 2 days off
• Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic and Neuro spinal experience is a must
• Must have a DOH license (DHA license holder can be considered as long as it can be easily transferred to DOH)
• Preferably someone who can start immediately / with 1 month notice period
• Must be willing to work in Abu Dhabi
