IT System Administrator - Dhofar Global Tr Co LLC

Dhofar Global Tr Co LLC is a leading company in the FMCG industry specializing in the production and distribution of household and personal care products. We are currently seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to join our team in Dubai UAE.

As an IT System Administrator you will be responsible for the overall management maintenance and security of our organizations IT systems. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth operation of our network servers and software applications.

Responsibilities:

Design implement and maintain the organizations IT infrastructure including servers network devices and software applications
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency
Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity
Manage user accounts permissions and access rights in accordance with company policies
Install configure and maintain hardware and software including operating systems applications and antivirus software
Conduct regular system audits to identify and resolve any security vulnerabilities
Stay uptodate with new technologies and make recommendations for system improvements
Provide technical support to endusers and assist with resolving any ITrelated issues
Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets and manage software licenses
Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT System Administrator or similar role
Strong knowledge of network protocols server administration and virtualization
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory and Exchange Server
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery procedures
Familiarity with cloudbased services and virtual private networks (VPN)
Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) is a plus
