IT Specialist - Saudi National

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Designing and installing computer hardware configurations.
• Installing software and networking systems.
• Troubleshooting network and software issues.
• Installing highlevel software security systems.
• Fixing hardware software and networking issues.
• Responding to general IT requests.
• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems.
• Ensuring security software is kept up to date.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
• Knowledge of database and networking security systems.
• Informs themselves of the relevant Quality Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in computer engineering or electronic & communications engineering from accredited university.
• At least 10 years of experience in ITICT and communications/data network systems.
• Familiarity with general OS systems Enterprise programming languages and Office software.
• Knowledge of LAN and wireless networks.
• Ability to project manage.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to design implement and maintain WAN LAN and wireless networks including fiber optics networks gateway routers switches firewall and Cisco Wireless controllers.
• Prepare and maintain documentation and drawing of network standards configurations and procedures.
• Excellent knowledge in (DWDM IPLC & MPLS) technologies.
• Monitor firewalls to protect sensitive information and uphold cybersecurity protocols.
• Evaluate design and program computer hardware and software for engineering design applications and/or data management and validation of applications.
