Position:Irrigation Assistant

Job Description: We are seeking an Irrigation Assistant to work with our team of irrigation professionals to ensure efficient and effective irrigation of crops and landscapes. The Irrigation Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems, as well as ensuring that irrigation schedules are properly followed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems.
• Ensure that irrigation schedules are properly followed and adjusted as necessary.
• Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to ensure that they are operating efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system problems.
• Maintain records of irrigation schedules and system maintenance
• Operate irrigation equipment such as pumps, valves, and controllers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and equipment
• Good Knowledge of Computers Ms Office (Word & Excel (Macros))
• Ability to operate irrigation equipment such as pumps, valves, and controllers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Basic understanding of irrigation water management and scheduling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and work in outdoor conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with irrigation systems or in a related field.
• Certification in irrigation management or a related field
• Bilingual in English and Hindi
