Internal Auditor mid-senior level

Responsibilities:

• Manage the internal audit function for the sectors ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  
• Develop and implement riskbased audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  
• Conduct audits of business processes financial statements and operational activities to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls.
  
• Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management based on audit findings and observations.
  
• Foster a culture of accountability integrity and continuous improvement within the internal audit team and across the organization.
  
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive process improvements and mitigate risks identified during audits.
  
• Stay abreast of industry trends best practices and regulatory changes relevant to internal audit and recommend updates to audit methodologies as needed.
  

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
  
• CPA CIA or other relevant certification preferred
  
• 15 plus years of progressive experience in internal audit
  
• Strong knowledge of internal audit standards principles and practices including risk assessment methodologies and audit techniques
  
• Must have experience in one or more of these sectors Energy Utilities Infra
