In-House Counsel Luxury Retail

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics.
• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts and other legal documents.
• Provide legal advice and support on a broad range of corporate matters.
• Promoting legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company.
• Manage litigation matters and coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research and develop strategies to proactively mitigate risk.
• Designing and delivering legal training to the business.
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties.
• Stay up to date with changes to legislation.
• Serve as a liaison to regulatory agencies as needed.
• Liaise with senior members of Staff.
• Requirements and skills:
• BSc degree in Law or J.D. degree
• Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in business environment
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Thorough understanding of the legal landscape and business operations
