Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our Downstream Development Academy (DDA). The DDA is responsible for providing Downstream oil and gas employees with the technical knowledge and skills required to optimize their performance. Your primary role will be to create training materials in collaboration with subject matter experts. You will do this through integrating the best practices of instructional design and instructional technology through the use of multimedia software programming and state of the art technology.

Responsibilities:

• Work with customers and stakeholders to initiate new training projects and assess their training needs.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop appropriate training solutions.
• Apply instructional design principles to create engaging training courses for various delivery modes.
• Manage multiple instructional design and development projects including timelines schedules work scope and deliverables.
• Support the development of team members through knowledge sharing and mentoring.
• Design and collect metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programs.

Requirements:

• Willing to permanently relocate at Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelors degree in Education Information Technology Engineering or equivalent. A Masters degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design and instructional technology. Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
• Ability to demonstrate lesson and curriculum planning skills.
• Proficient in using Windows and Mac Operating Systems.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in using Adobe Captivate Articulate 360 Dominknow ONE Camtasia and Adobe Photoshop.
