We are looking for a Senior Advisor to join our Planning & Performance Management team offering seasoned expertise and leadership in complex crossfunctional challenges that are crucial to the companys success. This role involves a strategic position based in Dhahran Saudi Arabia where you will serve as a key player in enhancing our risk management practices and overall P&PM efficiency.

Job Summary

We are seeking a CCR Platformer Engineer. Our client is a domestic refinery located on the west coast of Saudi Arabia with a daily crude processing capacity of 250000 BPD. They operate 40000BPD of Naphtha Hydrotreater and CCR/Platformer Units in addition to other conventional hydrocarbon processing units. Your primary role will be to support in the field of Process/Chemical Engineering assisting in the monitoring and performance improvements of the CCR/Platformer and Naphtha Hydrotreating Units maximization of the units production while maintaining clean fuel mode of operation supporting the contact engineers on daytoday issues process equipment design/evaluation process modeling energy optimization and economic evaluation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering technical support to Refinery Operations.
• Perform unit monitoring and conduct performance evaluations.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving Operationsrelated problems.
• Monitor Advanced Process Control (APC) and address constraints to maximize APC utilization.
• Analyze catalyst performance estimate yields and assess the life cycle of catalysts.
• Lead Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies Management of Change (MOC) processes Root Cause analysis and incident investigations.
• Prepare annual and longrange operating plans and objectives.
• Identify unit constraints and conduct debottleneck studies to improve efficiency.
• Perform engineering studies aimed at enhancing refinery gross margins.
• Conduct energy audits and surveys to improve refinery energy performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Provide design reviews and commissioning support for capital projects.
• Participate in the development of procedures and their subsequent reviews.

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
• Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in CCR/Platforming and Naphtha Hydrotreating.
• Additional experience in the Crude Unit Diesel Hydrotreating Penex ISOM Merox Units Amine Treating and Sulfur Recovery Units would be advantageous.
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of engineering practices international standards and economic principles.
